Movement & Integration

Monica Canducci

About me...

Certified Rolfer & Rolf Movement practitioner, I have worked in the artistic field as a performer (theatre, music, dance) and trainer since the 1990s. In 1996 I started to study and collaborate with M° Philip Beamish, teacher and personal coach of some of the greatest names in dance throughout the world, by helping to found and register the Beamish Bodymind Balancing® technique, a method which increases body awareness, presence, perception and movement coordination. At the same time, thanks to the vast personal experience gained in the field, I have become trainer and body-mind coach to artists of international fame (actors, singers, dancers, musician, athletes, circus artists, performers, TV presenters).

Deepening my interests and study in the fields of communication and neuroscience, in 2004 I started to collaborate with ‘Keiron - body mind emotions environment’ as body-mind techniques professional and instructor, and in 2010 I co-created (with Dr. Davide Pierini, my husband) the K-brain Project, a home-based cognitive and motor rehabilitation project addressed to people with acquired nervous system damage.

Integrating my experience in neuroscience, communication, movement and body-mind connections, I created the Move in Mind Training, a specific Sensory-Motor Imagery Training Course applicable both in high performance (performing arts and sports) and rehabilitation fields.

Since 2012 I have lived and worked in Montreal (Quebec, Canada), where I've become a member of ACTMD (Association Canadienne des thérapeutes en Médecines Douces - Canadian Association of Therapists in Complementary Medicine) having been recognized as a Massage Therapist.
